Nissan Pathfinder - Off road skills - Cross axle

MERE INFO

When a gully crosses the track, you could find yourself cross-axled: as you drive slowly through, the vehicle comes to a halt with one front wheel and the diagonally opposite rear wheel spinning in mid-air. The only solution is to reverse the vehicle out of trouble. Instead, approach a cross-axle with enough throttle to build up some momentum. The vehicle’s inertia will then carry you across the short section of zero traction.
